Dell presents an industrial-grade machine with the Precision T7600 workstation. Dell Precision workstations have traditionally been quite plain, which isn't necessarily a bad thing in a system used for work. But the T7600 shows a little more style. Each end of the chassis houses sturdy asymmetrical handles, making it extremely easy to move this heavy, solidly built workstation around your studio. But there's more to the T7600 than the original chassis design. Inside, we find a processor designed for the most demanding servers, the Intel Xeon E5-2670. We've seen quite a few systems with these powerful 2.6GHz eight-core CPUs, and they're still the most powerful option for a workstation. They support Intel Hyper-Threading, so each physical core is detected as two virtual ones, meaning the T7600 offers a whopping 16 virtual processing cores. The processor also supports Intel Turbo Boost, allowing all cores to be boosted to 3.3GHz for limited periods. We also find an enormous amount of RAM memory for the heaviest loads that we could manage best with its 128GB of RAM which combined with its SSD (1Tb + 512GB) guarantees a system that is always snappy and ready and an excellent amount of memory for our most important files. To complete the workstation we find a graphics card designed for 3D rendering, a concentration of pure power, the Nvidia Quadro P1000 which with its 4GB of dedicated RAM will be able to perfectly manage all your resource-hungry software.
