What does a refurbished printer or MFP mean?

• A refurbished printer or multifunction is in fact a recycled product, i.e. a used one that has been discarded or replaced for an update or technological renewal, and which is purchased by companies like ours to be totally restored and resold with a guarantee. Unlike a simple used printer, we offer you a product reconditioned by professional technicians, who follow a highly strict protocol which includes: refurbishment of the printer or multifunction on the aesthetic side, verification of the components, replacement of the hardware most subject to wear and finally restoring the operating system and testing printing and various functions. You will therefore have a product like new, with significant economic benefits and above all environmentally friendly (as it is a reuse of used equipment).

What warranty do refurbished products have?

• By purchasing one of our products, you will have 12 months warranty coverage included in the price. Extendable to 24 months by purchasing the option separately. The warranty covers all electrical, electronic and mechanical components with the exception of consumables, such as toner, drum, fuser, etc.

Why should I buy a refurbished printer?

• The main reasons why you should prefer to buy a remanufactured printer or multifunctional device over a new one are 3: Savings, Quality and Respect for the environment .
• Savings as choosing a reconditioned system means spending at least 50% less than a new product, saving significantly on the initial expense. Just think of those who need to set up a multimedia room, a professional studio that needs a professional and quality machine, an office that needs network printing or fast scanning or a home printer. By choosing a remanufactured machine you will save more than 50% of its value.
• Quality means entrusting your work or free time to printers or multifunctions produced by brands that have established themselves in the market for their reliability and durability. What are the quality grades of a refurbished printer or multifunction printer?

• All refurbished products are divided into quality grades, which exclusively certify the aesthetic state of the product. It is wrong to think that a Grade B refurbished printer or multifunction printer works worse than a Grade A one, as the functionality remains identical and perfect, regardless of the quality grade.

• GRADE A/A+: All refurbished products of GRADE A or higher A+ have no aesthetic defects such as scratches or dents. ​These products are tested in our laboratories to ensure perfect functionality, and are considered to be in excellent, like new condition. Almost all of our items are sold with this quality level, it will be very difficult to find the difference with the equivalent purchased new.

• GRADE B: All used GRADE B products may have scratches/signs of wear or discoloration along the frame and/or slight marks on the display which however do not compromise their perfect functioning. These products are tested in our laboratories to ensure perfect functionality, and are to be considered in a normal state of wear. If you want to save even more and it is not necessary for you to have an aesthetically perfect product, products with this Grade are for you.

• GRADE C: GRADE C products have scratches/signs of wear or discoloration along the frame, in some cases they may have scratches on the glass/display or dents which however do not compromise their functioning. Signs of wear are clearly visible and often indicate that the product may have taken a hit from a fall, or suffered an accident during transport. ​We do not deal with products with this Grade as we always want to provide our customers with the best possible.

What you will find inside the shipments

• Inside each shipment you will find everything you need to immediately and optimally use your new printer or multifunction . In fact you will find the power cable to connect to the machine and the toners already installed with at least 60% charged to start the printer.
  NB neither the USB cable for connection to the PC nor the Ethernet cable for connection to the network will be supplied within each shipment and furthermore there will not be any user manuals or driver disks.

How many copies does a refurbished printer or multifunction have?

• One of the most frequent questions our customers ask us is: “how many copies did this printer make? How many in color and black and white?” Unfortunately we are unable to say this with precision a priori, as each machine has different wear and tear and different numbers of copies made. But I can guarantee you that all the machines we sell are reconditioned by specialized technicians who check every single component and replace it if worn, to guarantee our customers a perfect product in all its forms and comparable to new. Together with the printer, we provide the customer with a complete report of the prints and any scans carried out, for maximum transparency.

What does the warranty cover on a refurbished printer?

Our standard warranty that we provide with each item and included in the price has a validity period of 12 months which can be extended to 24 months by purchasing the warranty extension. In both cases the type of warranty covers the same malfunctions or parts.
In fact, all electrical and electronic elements and also mechanical elements such as springs, gears etc. are covered by warranty. Naturally, any damage due to shipping or accidents that may occur during transport are also covered. Consumables of refurbished multifunction printers and printers such as toner, fusers, etc. are NOT covered by the warranty.

How are bulky printers and multifunctions shipped?

We understand our customers' concerns about shipping when purchasing large machines. This is why we proceed with obsessive care when packaging each item, using many layers of material to absorb any shocks. Furthermore, the larger machines are shipped on pallets to ensure maximum safety during transport.

Why are there streaks on first prints?

Have you launched a print and found yourself in your hands with a sheet full of streaks or traces of dirt? This circumstance is not all that rare and can occur for a variety of reasons. The most common is due to the transport of the machine, in fact with the movement of the same it can happen that puffs of toner can escape from the cartridges which will irreparably "dirty" parts such as the drum, this turns into streaks, lines or stains on the sheet. Don't worry, just print 10/20 pages to clean up any excess toner.

What types of connections can a printer have?

One aspect that must be taken into consideration when purchasing a printer is its connectivity. This term indicates the type of connection that can occur between the printer and a computer or even with other portable devices. With the Wifi interface the printer, in addition to being connected to our computer, can also be connected to other devices, such as a tablet or a smartphone. Such a device can also be connected to your home router so you can use web services. We do not recommend this type of connection for professional machines or those that have to handle a large workload, in fact connection or latency problems could occur in communication with the printer. However, the connection between the computer and the printer occurs for all models via a USB cable. The connection to the router can instead be made via a network cable. The best connection we can find in a printer or multifunction device is the Ethernet one, in fact, thanks to a single LAN cable connected to the router, we could print from all the PCs and devices connected to the network itself, without having signal losses, speed limits or reception problems.

What are ADF and Duplex?

We often read these acronyms in the descriptions of multifunctions or printers but what do they mean in a few words? If our intention is to print many pages a day, a function that we certainly cannot do without, and which can also be useful for saving money, is double-sided printing. Devices equipped with this function, through a system of rollers, are able to print independently on both the front and back of each individual page, without the need for manual intervention. The mechanism that allows you to make double-sided prints is called DUPLEX.
Similarly, if we need to automatically scan multiple pages at a time or even automatically scan double-sided, we will need a multifunction machine equipped with an ADF . This easily recognizable element, unlike the Duplex which is found inside the machine, is almost always placed in the upper part of the multifunctions and is an indispensable ally to greatly speed up your work.
